Section 1: Professional Standards

1.1 Professional Conduct & Studio Image Policy

Every staff member represents Revolution Dance both inside and outside of the classroom. Teachers play an important role in creating the culture and experience that dancers and families associate with the studio.

The way teachers communicate, dress, interact with students and families, and care for the studio environment directly impacts the trust, safety, and sense of belonging within the Revolution Dance community.

Professional Expectations

Teachers are expected to:

Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional attitude at all times while representing Revolution Dance.

Communicate respectfully and professionally with students, families, staff members, and leadership.

Treat all dancers with patience, kindness, encouragement, and respect.

Keep personal frustrations, complaints, disagreements, and private conversations away from students and parent-facing areas.

Avoid discussing studio concerns, staff matters, student concerns, or personal conflicts with students or families.

Represent Revolution Dance values through their words, actions, and interactions.

Arrive prepared, punctual, and ready to provide a positive learning environment.

Be knowledgeable about studio information and direct questions to the Director when clarification is needed.

Maintain a professional appearance appropriate for teaching and movement-based instruction.

Teachers are expected to remember that every interaction is an opportunity to build trust and positively influence a dancer’s experience.

1.2 Class Preparation Policy

Effective teaching begins before class starts. Teachers are expected to arrive prepared, organized, and ready to provide a positive, engaging, and age-appropriate learning experience from the moment students enter the studio.

Teaching Expectations

Teachers are expected to:

Arrive at the studio with enough time to prepare before their scheduled class.

Be ready to begin class at the scheduled start time.

Plan each class in advance with purposeful instruction that supports dancer development.

Create lessons that are age-appropriate, inclusive, engaging, and aligned with Revolution Dance teaching standards.

Have all music, attendance information, props, equipment, and teaching materials prepared before class begins.

Remain fully present and focused while teaching.

Give students their full attention throughout class.

Avoid personal phone use, texting, or personal device use during teaching time unless required for studio purposes.

Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment.

Wear appropriate professional dance attire and proper dance shoes while teaching.

Ensure teaching attire is suitable for movement and does not expose the midriff.

Staying Informed

Teachers are responsible for staying informed by:

Checking staff communication through BAND and Email regularly.

Reviewing studio updates, schedule changes, event information, and important announcements.

Asking the Director for clarification when information is unclear.

Being informed allows teachers to provide accurate and professional communication to students and families.


 Class Preparation Procedure

Teachers must arrive prepared and ready to teach before their scheduled class start time.

Music, attendance, lesson plans, and equipment must be organized before students enter the classroom.

Class plans must be submitted to the Director by August 30 each season unless otherwise communicated.

Failure to submit required class plans may result in compensation being adjusted to minimum wage until required materials have been provided.

Teachers must begin and end classes according to the scheduled timetable.

Personal matters should remain outside the classroom whenever possible. Students deserve the teacher’s full attention, energy, and professionalism during every class.

1.3 Teacher Responsibilities & Classroom Expectations

Teachers are responsible for creating a safe, positive, and encouraging environment where every dancer feels supported and valued.

Classroom Responsibilities

Teachers are expected to:

Welcome students positively at the beginning of each class.

Create an environment where dancers feel comfortable, included, and respected.

Take attendance accurately at every class.

Provide appropriate supervision of students during class time.

Use positive teaching methods that encourage confidence and growth.

Provide corrections in a constructive and respectful manner.

Adapt instruction when needed to support different learning styles and abilities.

Maintain appropriate classroom management.

Address inappropriate behaviour calmly and professionally.

Notify the Director of ongoing student concerns, injuries, safety issues, or parent concerns.

Student Care Expectations

Teachers must:

Prioritize student safety and emotional well-being.

Never use humiliation, intimidation, or negative language as a teaching method.

Never compare dancers in a way that negatively impacts confidence.

Encourage effort, improvement, and personal growth.

1.4 Respect & Behaviour Policy

Revolution Dance is committed to creating a welcoming environment where students, families, and staff feel respected, supported, and valued.

All staff members are expected to model the behaviour they wish to see from students.

Respectful Behaviour Includes:

Speaking respectfully to others.

Listening and responding professionally.

Accepting different abilities, personalities, and learning styles.

Supporting a positive team environment.

Handling disagreements calmly and appropriately.

Following studio policies and procedures.

Unacceptable Behaviour Includes:

Gossiping or spreading rumors.

Speaking negatively about students, families, staff members, or the studio.

Publicly criticizing studio decisions or staff members.

Engaging in disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate communication.

Creating conflict within the studio community.

Concerns or disagreements should be addressed privately and professionally through the appropriate channels, beginning with communication to the Director when necessary.

 1.5 Zero Tolerance for Harmful Behaviour Policy

Revolution Dance is committed to maintaining a safe environment free from behaviour that may harm, intimidate, or negatively impact others.

The studio has zero tolerance for:

* Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or threatening behaviour.

* Discrimination or exclusionary behaviour.

* Verbal, emotional, or physical aggression.

* Inappropriate conduct toward students, families, staff members, or leadership.

* Retaliation against individuals who raise concerns in good faith.

* Any behaviour that compromises the safety or well-being of another person.

* Any concerns involving harmful behaviour must be reported to the Director immediately.

Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

1.6 Confidentiality & Professional Boundaries Policy

Teachers are trusted role models and must maintain appropriate professional boundaries with students, families, and staff members.

All interactions must remain professional and focused on supporting the dancer’s experience.

Communication With Students & Families

Teachers must:

* Communicate with students and families only for approved studio-related purposes.

* Use approved studio communication channels whenever possible.

* Receive approval from the Director before contacting families through personal phone numbers, email addresses, or social media.

* Direct questions regarding schedules, placements, policies, fees, or studio decisions to the Director.

Consult the Director before communicating information that may impact a student’s participation or studio experience.

Professional Boundaries

Teachers must:

* Maintain professional relationships with students and parents at all times.

* Avoid developing personal relationships with students outside of the studio environment.

* Not meet students or parents socially outside approved studio activities.

* Maintain appropriate boundaries on social media and online platforms.

* Ensure all interactions reflect the professionalism expected of a trusted educator.

1.7 Confidentiality Policy

Teachers are responsible for protecting the privacy of students, families, staff members, and Revolution Dance operations.

Confidential information includes, but is not limited to:

* Student information and personal circumstances.

* Family concerns or private conversations.

* Staff discussions and employment matters.

* Studio decisions, policies, and internal discussions.

* Financial or operational information.

Teachers must not:

* Share confidential information with students or families.

* Discuss internal studio matters outside appropriate staff communication channels.

* Share information about another staff member, student, or family without Director permission.

Questions or concerns regarding confidential matters must be directed to the Director.

1.8 Class Coverage & Punctuality Policy

Consistency and reliability are essential to providing a positive experience for dancers and families.

Teachers are responsible for ensuring their assigned classes are covered when they are unable to attend.

Teachers must:

* Provide as much notice as possible when unable to attend a scheduled class.

* Find an approved substitute teacher from the Revolution Dance approved substitute list.

* Notify the Director through Text once coverage has been confirmed.

* Provide the substitute teacher with class plans, music, attendance information, and any necessary teaching notes.

* Arrive on time for all scheduled classes, rehearsals, events, and assigned responsibilities.

* Repeated lateness, missed communication, or failure to arrange appropriate coverage may result in further action.

1.9 Social Media & Online Conduct Policy

Social media reflects both personal and professional identity. Revolution Dance respects that staff members have personal online spaces; however, staff are expected to maintain professional boundaries and represent themselves appropriately.

Social Media Boundaries

Staff members must:

* Maintain professional boundaries with students and families online.

* Avoid connecting with current students under 18 through personal social media accounts.

* Protect their own privacy and personal information.

* Never share confidential information about students, families, staff, or studio operations.

* Must not post content, including photos, videos, class footage, performance, choreography, announcements or studio-related information on personal social media accounts. Except by reposting official Revolution Dance content.

Teachers and staff members:

* Must represent Revolution Dance respectfully when referencing the studio online.

* Must receive approval before posting official studio announcements, policies, or information not already publicly shared.

* Must not respond publicly to complaints, concerns, or negative comments regarding the studio.

* Must direct concerns or online inquiries to the Director.

Every staff member contributes to the reputation and culture of Revolution Dance. Professionalism online is an extension of professionalism inside the studio.

Section 2 - Communication & Professional Boundaries

2.1 Communication Policy

Purpose

Clear, respectful, and professional communication is essential to creating a positive experience for dancers, families, and staff.

Teachers are representatives of Revolution Dance and are expected to communicate in a way that reflects the studio’s values, supports a welcoming environment, and builds trust with families.

All communication should provide families with accurate, consistent, and professional information.

2.2 Professional Communication Expectations

All staff communication must be:

* Respectful and professional

* Positive and solution-focused

* Appropriate in tone, language, and content

* Respectful of privacy and confidentiality

* Consistent with Revolution Dance policies and procedures

Teachers should consider whether their communication strengthens confidence in the studio and supports a positive experience for dancers and families.

2.3 Approved Communication Channels

All studio-related communication must take place through approved Revolution Dance communication platforms.

Approved communication methods may include:

* BAND app

* Studio email

Teachers should not use personal communication platforms for studio business unless specifically approved by the Director.

2.4 Supporting Families With Accurate Information

Revolution Dance strives to make communication simple, easy, and convenient for families. Teachers play an important role in helping families access accurate information.

When families have questions, teachers should:

* Direct families to the appropriate studio resource typically the website.

* Encourage families to use official communication channels.

* Provide information only within their role and level of authorization.

Teachers must not:

* Interpret or modify studio policies.

* Create exceptions or make commitments on behalf of the studio.

* Provide unauthorized information regarding tuition, registration, scheduling, placements, or administrative decisions.

Questions regarding studio policies, fees, schedules, placements, or operations must be directed to the Director.

 2.5 Communication With Students & Families

Teachers are expected to maintain appropriate professional boundaries in all interactions with students and families.

Teacher communication may include:

* Solo and Duet rehearsal details

Communication should remain focused on the student’s dance experience and educational needs.

Teachers must not use communication with students or families to develop personal relationships outside of the professional teacher role.

2.6 Text Messaging Policy

Text messaging between teachers and families must remain limited, professional, and appropriate.

Text messaging may only be used for:

* Approved solo or duet rehearsal scheduling 

Text messaging must not be used for:

* Tuition or payment questions

* Registration inquiries

* Studio policy discussions

* Parent concerns

* Schedule changes

* General studio announcements

When communication requires discussion beyond a brief message, families should be directed to the Director or official studio website.

2.7 Confidentiality Policy

Purpose

Teachers may have access to private information regarding students, families, staff members, and studio operations. Protecting this information is essential to maintaining trust, safety, and professionalism.

Confidential information may only be accessed and used for the purpose of completing job responsibilities.


Confidential Information Includes:

* Student and family information

* Private conversations

* Behaviour concerns

* Student progress discussions

* Staff matters

I* nternal studio decisions

* Business operations

* Future plans or announcements before official release

* Scheduling information before communication to families


Confidentiality Expectations

Teachers must:

* Keep student and family information private.

* Protect conversations shared in confidence.

* Avoid discussing students, families, or staff members with individuals who do not need the information.

* Direct questions regarding internal matters to the Director.

Teachers must not:

* Share internal studio discussions with families.

* Discuss staff concerns or disagreements with parents or students.

* Share upcoming decisions or announcements before official communication.

* Discuss another dancer’s progress, behaviour, or personal circumstances.

Sharing confidential information may be considered a breach of professional expectations and the staff agreement.

2.8 Teacher & Parent Professional Boundaries Policy

Purpose

Teachers are trusted role models. Maintaining clear professional boundaries protects students, families, and teachers while ensuring all dancers receive a fair and consistent experience.


Professional Relationships

Teachers must maintain professional relationships with all students and families.

Teachers should:

* Treat all students fairly and consistently.

* Maintain appropriate teacher/student boundaries.

* Avoid relationships that may create perceived favoritism.

* Ensure feedback, placement decisions, and progress discussions remain objective.

Teachers must not:

* Develop personal relationships with students outside the studio environment.

* Socialize privately with students or families unless part of an approved studio activity.

* Communicate through personal social media accounts with students or families

2.9 Conflict Resolution Policy

Purpose

Revolution Dance believes concerns are best resolved through respectful, direct, and professional communication.

Concerns must not be handled through gossip, public discussions, social media, or conversations with individuals who are unable to resolve the issue.


Staff Conflict Resolution

When a concern arises between staff members, teachers should:

* Address concerns respectfully and privately with the appropriate person when possible.

* Focus on solutions rather than blame.

* Maintain professionalism and avoid involving uninvolved staff members.

* Seek support from the Director when assistance is needed.

Teachers must not:

* Gossip about coworkers.

* Discuss workplace concerns with parents or students.

* Make negative comments that may damage trust or create division within the team.


Parent Concerns & Conflict Resolution

When a parent raises a concern, teachers should:

* Listen respectfully.

* Remain calm and professional.

* Acknowledge the concern without making promises.

* Avoid sharing confidential information.

* Direct concerns outside their authority to the Director.

Teachers must not:

* Debate or challenge studio policies.

* Defend or criticize another staff member.

* Share personal opinions regarding studio decisions.

* Attempt to resolve concerns involving policies, fees, placements, staffing, or operations.

All concerns involving staff members, policies, fees, placements, or studio decisions must be directed to the Director.

 

Section 3: Student Experience & Safety

3.1 Student Safety Policy

Purpose

The safety, well-being, and positive experience of every dancer is the highest priority at Revolution Dance.

Teachers play an important role in creating a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment where dancers can build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy their dance experience.

All staff members are responsible for maintaining appropriate supervision, following safety procedures, and immediately reporting any concerns that may impact student safety.

3.2 Teacher Safety Responsibilities

Teachers are responsible for ensuring a safe learning environment by:

* Maintaining active supervision of students before, during, and after class when assigned.

* Creating a positive classroom environment where students feel supported and respected.

* Providing age-appropriate warm-ups, conditioning, and skill progressions.

* Teaching skills based on each dancer’s individual ability, readiness, and experience.

* Using proper spotting techniques and safety practices when required.

* Ensuring dancers are using equipment and studio spaces appropriately.

* Monitoring student behaviour and addressing unsafe actions immediately.

* Reporting injuries, hazards, incidents, or safety concerns to the Director as soon as possible.

Teachers must never allow a dancer to attempt a skill that is unsafe, beyond their current ability level, or has not been properly progressed.

3.3 Acro & Advanced Skills Safety Policy

Acrobatics, tricks, aerial skills, and advanced movement require appropriate training, supervision, and progression.

Teachers may only introduce advanced skills when:

* The skill is appropriate for the dancer’s age, ability, and training level.

* Required foundational skills and progressions have been successfully completed.

* Proper instruction and supervision are provided.

* Appropriate safety equipment and spotting practices are available.

Teachers must prioritize dancer safety over skill achievement and should never pressure or encourage a student to attempt a skill they are not physically or emotionally ready to perform.

3.4 Student Supervision & Safety Restrictions

To maintain a safe environment, teachers and staff must:

* Never leave students unsupervised.

* Never allow unauthorized individuals into classrooms or restricted areas.

* Never administer medication to students.

* Immediately address unsafe behaviour or situations.

* Follow all emergency, evacuation, first aid, and incident reporting procedures.

Any safety concern must be reported promptly to the Director.

3.5 Student Teacher & Assistant Policy

Student teachers and assistants are valued members of the Revolution Dance team and provide important support within classes. However, they do not replace the responsibilities of the primary teacher.

Student teachers:

* Must work under the direction and supervision of the assigned teacher.

* Must not be left responsible for independent classroom management unless specifically approved.

* Must never supervise Acro or gymnastics-based classes independently.

* Must not take attendance unless authorized.

* Must not be responsible for student safety decisions or replacing the primary teacher’s role.

The primary teacher remains responsible for the overall safety, supervision, and learning environment of the class.

3.6 Parent Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy

Purpose

A consistent arrival and dismissal process helps ensure dancers are safely supervised and families feel confident in their child’s experience at Revolution Dance.


Parent Responsibilities

Parents/guardians are responsible for:

* Ensuring dancers arrive on time, prepared, and dressed appropriately for class.

* Remaining responsible for their child until they enter the designated supervised studio area.

* Picking dancers up promptly at the end of class.

* Ensuring emergency contact information and authorized pick-up information remains current.

* Communicating any changes to pick-up arrangements with the studio.


Drop-Off Expectations

Parents should:

* Drop dancers off only when they are ready to enter the studio and begin their class experience.

* Avoid arriving excessively early unless attending a scheduled activity or waiting area is available.

* Ensure younger dancers are safely transitioned into studio supervision.

Teachers are not responsible for supervising dancers before their scheduled class time unless they have been assigned that responsibility.


 Pick-Up Expectations

Parents/guardians must:

* Arrive promptly at the scheduled class end time.

* Notify the studio if they are delayed.

* Arrange for an approved alternate pick-up person when required.

Dancers must not leave the studio with anyone who is not authorized by the parent/guardian or wait outside of the building. 


Late Pick-Up Policy

The safety of all dancers remains the priority. Repeated late pick-ups may result in:

* Communication with the family regarding expectations.

* Additional supervision fees if applicable.

* A review of continued enrollment when late pick-ups create ongoing supervision concerns.

Families are expected to support a safe and organized environment by respecting scheduled class times and pick-up procedures.

 

Section 4 Operations and Studio Responsibilities

4.1 Class Coverage & Attendance Responsibilities Policy

Teachers are responsible for ensuring their assigned classes are properly supported, supervised, and documented. This includes arranging appropriate class coverage when unavailable and maintaining accurate attendance records.

Class Coverage Expectations

When a teacher is unable to teach their scheduled class, they must:

* Provide adequate notice to the Director whenever possible.

* Use the approved substitute teacher list when arranging coverage.

* 8Receive Director approval before confirming a substitute teacher.

* Notify the Director of all approved coverage arrangements.

* Provide the substitute teacher with lesson plans, music, class structure, student information, and any necessary instructions to ensure a successful class.

Teachers may not independently:

* Cancel scheduled classes.

* Dismiss students early.

* Arrange unapproved substitute coverage.

* Make changes to class schedules without Director approval.

The goal of class coverage procedures is to ensure consistency, safety, and a positive experience for all dancers and families.


Attendance & Student Progress Responsibilities

Accurate attendance tracking and awareness of student participation are essential to supporting dancer success.

Teachers are responsible for:

* Recording attendance at the start of every class.

* Monitoring student engagement, participation, and progress.

* Notifying the Director of concerns related to attendance, behaviour, participation, or student development.

* Communicating concerns regarding repeated absences or significant changes in a student’s involvement or progress.

* Attendance records must be completed accurately and consistently to support studio communication, student development, and administrative requirements.

4.2 Studio Environment & Equipment Policy

Teachers are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment before, during, and after every class.

Teachers must:

* Reset classrooms after each class.

* Return props, equipment, and teaching materials to their designated locations.

* Remove personal belongings from studio spaces.

* Ensure the classroom is prepared and ready for the next scheduled use.

* Report damaged equipment, safety concerns, or maintenance issues to the Director promptly.

A well-maintained studio environment supports dancer safety, efficient operations, and a positive experience for everyone at Revolution Dance.

4.3 Studio Property & Resource Use Policy

Studio resources are provided to support teaching, administration, and the dancer experience. All Revolution Dance property must be treated with care and used responsibly.

Studio property includes, but is not limited to:

* Music equipment and technology

* Computers and office resources

* Costumes

* Props

* Mats and safety equipment

* Curriculum materials

* Classroom supplies and furniture

Teachers must:

* Use studio resources only for approved Revolution Dance activities.

* Handle all equipment and materials responsibly.

* Return items to their proper location after use.

* Obtain Director approval before removing, borrowing, or using studio property outside of approved studio activities.

Studio property remains the responsibility of Revolution Dance and may not be removed from the studio without prior approval.

 

Section 5 Events & Programming

5.1 Competition Attendance Policy

Competition attendance is appreciated but is considered a volunteer commitment unless otherwise arranged by the Director. A teacher's primary responsibility is to their regularly scheduled classes.

Teacher Responsibilities

Teachers must:

* Prioritize their regular teaching schedule.

* Communicate scheduling conflicts as early as possible.

* Obtain Director approval before committing to competition responsibilities that may affect teaching obligations.

Competition Conduct

Teachers attending competitions represent Revolution Dance and are expected to:

* Demonstrate professionalism at all times.

* Support all Revolution Dance dancers positively and respectfully.

* Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with dancers and families.

* Follow all competition rules, studio policies, and event procedures.

* Foster a positive, encouraging, and team-focused environment.

5.2 Solo & Duet Choreography Payment Policy

Solo and duet choreography is an additional service arranged directly between the teacher/choreographer and the dancer’s parent or guardian. These services are separate from regular studio tuition and are not included in a teacher’s regular teaching compensation.

Payment Requirement

Teachers must receive full payment directly from the dancer’s parent or guardian before committing to or beginning any Solo or Duet choreography. This includes booking or using Revolution Dance studio space, scheduling rehearsal time, beginning choreography, or committing to any related resources.

Teachers are responsible for communicating the total choreography fee and payment requirements directly to the parent/guardian and confirming payment has been received before proceeding.

Teacher Financial Responsibility

The teacher is solely responsible for ensuring payment has been received before providing Solo or Duet choreography or committing studio resources.

If a teacher proceeds without receiving full payment, Revolution Dance is not responsible for any unpaid choreography fees and will not reimburse the teacher for time or services provided without payment. The teacher assumes all financial responsibility for any unpaid amount.

If choreography is provided without payment having been received in accordance with this policy, the teacher’s time will be considered voluntary/donated time.

Studio Space

Solo or Duet choreography may not be booked or conducted in Revolution Dance studio space until the teacher has confirmed that full payment has been received.

Revolution Dance does not collect, guarantee, or assume responsibility for payment of Solo or Duet choreography fees owed directly to the teacher.

Responsibility for Compliance

Teachers are responsible for ensuring this policy is followed for every Solo and Duet choreography arrangement. Failure to follow this policy does not create a financial obligation for Revolution Dance and may result in the teacher losing the ability to independently arrange or book studio space for future Solo or Duet choreography.

5.3 Props Policy

Props can enhance choreography when they are safe, practical, and appropriately managed.

Prop Approval

* All competition props require Director approval before they are purchased or used.

* Teachers must submit all prop requests by October 1, including:

Description of the prop

* Purpose within the choreography

* Estimated budget

* Storage requirements

* Transportation plan

* Safety considerations

No props may be purchased without prior written approval from the Director.

Prop Requirements

Approved props must:

* Be age appropriate.

* Meet all safety standards.

* Not damage studio facilities or equipment.

* Not interfere with other classes or studio operations.

* Be transported by a parent or guardian from the class in which the prop is being used. Transportation arrangements may not be assigned to parents outside of the class or to another teacher unless specifically approved by the Director..

* Teachers are not responsible for transporting competition props unless this responsibility has been approved in writing by the Director.

 

5.4 Transportation Policy

Teacher Transportation of Dancers

The transportation of dancers to or from classes, rehearsals, competitions, or studio events is the responsibility of parents or guardians.

Revolution Dance does not support or encourage teachers transporting dancers in personal vehicles.

Exceptions

If a teacher independently chooses to transport a dancer outside of Revolution Dance programming:

* Written parent/guardian permission is required and submitted to the Studio.

* Proof of Commerical insurance coverage must be provided before transportation occurs.

* The transportation arrangement is considered a private agreement between the teacher and the family and is not part of Revolution Dance programming.

* Teachers without appropriate insurance coverage may not transport dancers. 

Section 6 Social Media & Online Conduct Policy

6.1 Purpose

Social media reflects both personal and professional identity. Every staff member represents Revolution Dance both in person and online. Teachers are expected to use good judgment and maintain professional boundaries that protect the privacy, safety, and reputation of the studio, its dancers, families, and staff.

Social Media Expectations

Teachers must:

* Protect the privacy and confidentiality of dancers, families, and coworkers.

* Maintain professional boundaries in all online interactions.

* Represent themselves respectfully and professionally.

* Ensure all online activity aligns with the values and Code of Conduct of Revolution Dance.

* Avoid posting anything that could negatively affect the reputation of the studio or the well-being of a student.

Studio Photos, Videos & Social Media Content

Photos and videos captured at Revolution Dance classes, rehearsals, competitions, performances, recitals, workshops, or any studio event are considered official studio content.

Teachers must not:

* Post or share photos or videos taken at the studio or any Revolution Dance event on their personal social media accounts.

* Create independent social media content featuring Revolution Dance dancers, classes, costumes, choreography, or studio activities.

* Share behind-the-scenes content from the studio or events

Teachers may:

* Reshare or repost content that has already been published through Revolution Dance's official social media accounts.

* Share official studio announcements or promotional content that has been publicly released by Revolution Dance.

* Upload photos and videos taken at approved studio classes or events to the Revolution Dance Teacher Google Content Folder for use by the Studio Owner or designated marketing staff. Uploading content to the shared Google Content Folder does not grant permission to post that content on personal social media accounts.

Prohibited Online Behaviour

Teachers must not:

* Post negative comments about Revolution Dance, its programs, dancers, families, staff members, or studio decisions.

* Discuss internal studio matters, confidential conversations, or business operations.

* Share complaints, frustrations, or disagreements involving students, parents, coworkers, competitions, performances, or studio activities.

* Post content containing harassment, discrimination, profanity, inappropriate language, or any material inconsistent with the values of Revolution Dance.

* Represent personal opinions as official studio statements.

* Claim to speak on behalf of Revolution Dance unless specifically authorized by the Studio Owner.

Studio Branding

Teachers must receive written approval before:

* Using the Revolution Dance name, logo, branding, or other marketing materials.

* Representing the studio publicly in any official capacity.

* Creating or distributing promotional materials on behalf of Revolution Dance.

Choreography & Copyright

Teachers must:

* Respect choreography ownership and intellectual property.

* Obtain writtten permission before sharing another choreographer's work.

* Not post complete choreography created for Revolution Dance classes, teams, recitals, or competitions without approval.

* Follow all copyright requirements for music, videos, images, and other creative materials.


Compliance

Every teacher contributes to the culture and reputation of Revolution Dance. Professional and responsible online behaviour helps maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment for dancers, families, and staff.

Failure to comply with this policy may result in corrective action, up to and including disciplinary action or termination of employment.
